ASCO Brings Holiday Cheer to Cheshire Home
On Thursday, December 3rd, Brett Balasky and his team of ASCO volunteers hosted an Ice Cream Social for the residents of Cheshire Home!
Ice cream is always a favorite at Cheshire, and our volunteers served residents and staff sundaes throughout the dinner and dessert hour. The treats were greatly appreciated, as was the generosity of each person on the team as they brought smiles to everyone's faces. Our new friends truly added spirit to our holiday season, and they are, left to right, Andrew Kuchta, Nicole Lankist, Harriet O'Connor, Zach Werne, Brett Balasky, and Fadi Hammad. Front row left to right are Cheshire Recreation Director Gina Grasso, and residents Quinn Pitt, Shannon Coleman, Herson Ledezma, Darren Creran, Oscar Solis, and Orlando Hernandez. .
ASCO, located in Florham Park, has for years donated funds to support our vocational and educational training programs. Known as the worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of flow-control valves, they are also a leader in the area of support for people with disabilities. Thank you to ASCO, Brett, and each member of this wonderful volunteer team!
