EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS  

Basic Skills/Pre-college Training/Adult Literacy Program: Individualized instruction for adults with learning disabilities who want to improve their math, English and communication skills. John Erwin/Audrey Tappan Scholarship Program: Scholarship assistance for college or skills training programs.

 

VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS

• Community Resource Center:

  • Provides computer training leading to employment or for personal enrichment. Appropriate assistive technology is available.

• Cheshire Enterprises:

  • A job training program that teaches manufacturing and computer skills, as well as positive work behaviors through on-site jobs at our reception desk, boutique and mail room.

• Cheshire's Sheltered Workshop Program:

  • A sheltered workshop program that employs and trains residents with on-site jobs.
