We ended football season this weekend with a Super Bowl party to remember! As the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers faced off, Cheshire Home residents and staff kicked-off another memorable Super Bowl party with our friends and local volunteers.

Thank you to our Recreation, Dietary and Development Departments for making sure the party was perfect! They went all out with food, decorations and fun!

Our living room was decorated for the event, setting the stage for a fun evening. Party goers enjoyed a classic football spread, including chips and dips, nachos, chili dogs, chicken tenders and pizza. We ended the night with a sweet treat- a cake cheering “Go Team”!

Super Bowl LIV was a great game! The 49ers and Chiefs gave each other a run for their money, and spectators an exciting event to watch. The commercials were pretty good- one even reminding us that it was also Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil did NOT see his shadow (here’s to an early spring)! In the end, the Kansas City Chiefs came out on top, winning Super Bowl LIV!

Here’s to a great football season at Cheshire Home! We truly enjoy this sport and although many of us root for different teams, it brings us together all season long! We’ll be counting down to the 2020 season on September 10th!
