Foundation Board Members Visit Cheshire Home!
The Catholic Human Services Foundation has provided grant support to Cheshire Home for a number of years. We were very pleased to recently welcome the Foundation's Board representatives Kevin Hackett, President, and Maggie Hackett, Vice-President, as they conducted a site visit at our facility.
As Maggie and Kevin stepped through the front door they experienced first-hand the latest project funded by the Foundation, our entry area air curtain. Particularly during these frosty winter days, the air curtain, releasing warm air each time the door opens, provides a barrier between the entry and the lobby. Many of our residents work at the front desk as receptionists, and their work environment has been made much more comfortable!
During the visit we had the opportunity to point out a number of enhancements to our health care facility, many of which have been completed through the generosity of the foundations that support us. The projects most recently funded by the Catholic Human Services Foundation include a new serving table for our Dietary Department, multiple upgrades to our heating equipment, a security camera system, and a state-of-the-art physical therapy mapping system to detect pressure sores.
We extend our deep appreciation!
