Cheshire Home Celebrates Super Bowl!

Cheshire Home’s residents and staff came together for one of our favorite days of the year- Super Bowl Sunday! We watched as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fought it out, but in the end the Buccaneers were named the Super Bowl Champions! At Cheshire Home, football is a staple! All season long, this sport brings us together as we watch games, talk about plays, and debate which team is the best. Along with everything else in 2020, football was different. We didn’t get all of the games we typically would. We didn’t get to watch all of them together. But, we WERE able to celebrate the end of the season with a party.

Thank you to Recreation and Dietary for hosting an unforgettable night- a Super Bowl party that probably meant more than any other. We enjoyed delicious food, received scratch offs that were generously donated anonymously, and (most of all) appreciated the time spent together having fun. We’ve really missed celebrations like this and are so hopeful that we can continue to have these special moments.

Here’s to the end of an odd year in football. We’re ready for next season!
